About the Role:
Join Seed NanoTech International, a Brampton-based sensor technology company, for a hands-on summer co-op placement. You’ll get exposure to real R&D lab operations, support the team with 3D design and printing, help organize project documentation, and participate in group science sessions to learn the basics of optics, sensors, and nanotechnology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with 3D modeling and printing using Autodesk Fusion 360 and Cura
- Support lab staff with basic setup and organization of testing equipment
- Help maintain and organize files, databases, and project documentation
- Contribute to social media and marketing materials using Canva
- Take part in group discussions on science concepts and lab safety
- Assist with general office and administrative tasks as needed
Core Skills:
- Interest in science, technology, or engineering
- Basic computer literacy (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
- Willingness to learn design tools (Fusion 360, Canva, Cura)
- No prior lab experience required — training provided
Soft Skills:
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technical skills
- Reliability and good communication
- Comfortable working in a small-team, flexible environment
- Ability to follow lab safety guidelines and instructions
