The history of Seed NanoTech International Inc. dates back to the year 2016 when it was incorporated under the name of “Seed NanoTech and Consulting,” and in the year 2019 as “Seed NanoTech International Incorporated.” It is one of the industry leaders in the fields of optics and plasmonics.
The company was established by a group of Canadian scientists and entrepreneurs, with support from other prominent researchers in Canada, Japan, and the United States. Their combined expertise spans more than 20 years of cutting-edge optics, magnetics, and plasmonics research and development across a wide range of Asian countries.
Between 1998 and 2004, Dr. Rizal worked at Muroran Institute of Technology in Japan, and from 2013 to 2018, he worked at the University of Victoria in Canada, the University of California, San Diego, Baylor University in the United States, and York University in Canada, where he gained valuable business and technical skills. During his last tenure at York University, Canada, Dr. Rizal worked at GEM Systems Inc., in Markham, Canada, through the MITACS Canada fellowship, where he performed the preliminary research and initial design of plasmonics-based nano-sensors and instruments. During his last tenure at York University, Canada, Dr. Rizal worked at GEM Systems Inc., through the MITACS Canada fellowship where he performed the preliminary research and initial design of plasmonics-based nano-sensors and instruments.
Dr. Conrad Rizal continued to develop benchtop demonstrations of a series of novel sensors based on the combined magnetic & plasmonics principle. These sensors are based on the interwind effect of classical and quantum physics and have the potential to use in many sectors (environment, agriculture, bio-medical, etc.) in Canada and the worldwide.

DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
It gives me immense pleasure to announce Seed NanoTech International Incorporated as one of the leading sensor development companies located in the heart of a beautiful Brampton city, Canada, and the prospects and potential it holds for the betterment of humanity.
Seed NanoTech International Inc. was incorporated in the year 2019 with only 5 employees. Despite the pandemic, this number has proportionally increased over the last year and is gradually making its mark to enter the competitive market. Through our constant efforts and governmental contributions, we have been successful in securing funds and the necessary raw materials for the operating process and improving our machinery and equipment. Furthermore, we have built scientific collaborations and partnerships with local, regional, and international academic laboratories and advanced research centers in Canada and abroad.
I express my gratitude to all employees whose fierce determination and deep engagement have made this company stronger with a concrete foundation and a promising future in the years to come. With, their synergic efforts we will be launching many new products like gas sensors, NO2 sensors for early detection of HIV, sensors for detecting viral and bacterial infections including ZIKA rapid/Elisa, and many more innovative technologies in the near future.
We are constantly thriving for improved relationships with our customers, suppliers, and shareholders by developing a business portfolio model and systematically decentralizing the management system. I’m looking forward to developing a continued partnership and a long-lasting relationship with all our partners and teams in Canada and abroad.
