Job Description

Seed NanoTech International Inc. is a sensor development company located in Brampton, Canada. The company was successfully launched in July 2019 as a small business and grew bigger. We secured significant funds from the municipal, provincial, and federal governments earlier this year, which has helped us hire new staff, purchase new equipment, and improve our facilities. This year, we expanded our office space and partnered with several advanced research centers in Ontario.

We are looking to hire office secretaries for our new office in Brampton. As a Secretary, you will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support to optimize workflow procedures in the office. You will assist colleagues and executives by supporting them with planning and distributing information.

You will be the point of reference for all queries, requests, or issues and will be an integral part of the company’s workforce. Your daily work includes answering phone calls and redirecting them as and when necessary. From time to time, you may need to file and update the contact information of employees, customers, suppliers, and partners at home and abroad.

You will also develop and maintain an office filing system, frequently check the office supplies levels and place appropriate orders, make travel arrangements for staff and executives, and document expenses and hand in reports under occasional receptionist duties. Previous work experience as a secretary or administrative Assistant in a medium or large organization is an asset.

Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques, a high degree of multi-tasking and time management capability, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are good assets. In addition, integrity and professionalism are expected at all times. Good knowledge of application programs such as Microsoft MS Office, good typing speed, etc. This job is a part-time/full-time position, but candidates interested in co-op or internship are also welcome to apply.


A graduate degree in a relevant field is preferred. However, we can consider candidates with a minimum of a high school diploma, good office work aptitude, and enthusiasm to learn and grow.
